Matthew Klane on “The Tragedy of Macbeth by Joel Coen”
Most of the text in my “Tragedy” was ripped from reading every review of Joel Coen’s The Tragedy of Macbeth (that had been published online at the time of composition). The sequence is one sonnet shy of a heroic crown. All of the images were produced by James Belflower entering lines from these sonnets into an art-generating program called DALL-E 2. And then: “Peace, the charm’s wound up.”
